As the Head of Payments Systems and Services for EFTEX, an ATM and POS acquiring business, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, implementation, maintenance and compliance of the company’s payments systems and services as we enter a growth phase.
Critical to your success will be ensuring efficient, secure and compliant switching, acquiring and payment processing operations. You will also oversee collaboration with stakeholders to ensure delivery of efficient and secure payment processing solutions for customers and merchants, protecting sensitive customer data.

Parkes Services Club is a community-focused venue in the heart of Parkes, NSW. With a rich history dating back to 1946, the club offers members and guests facilities for events – including the famous Elvis Festival – as well as dining options and a gaming floor.

You will be responsible for
  • Analysing transaction settlement variances.
  • Supporting business users with database analysis, report generation and updates.
  • Developing data extracts via SQL Server Agent jobs.
  • Ensuring systems have documentation in place to protect from single points of failure.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Developing SQL queries and stored procedures in order to extract/ analyse data sources.
  • Internal and external reporting support.
  • Processing terminal media adjustments.
  • Reconciliation of data extract files between payment systems to determine if there are any client settlement variances.
You will need:
  • 2-3 years’ experience with creating and running database queries in SQL database/ Query Studio or similar tools.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Understanding / experience working in payments/ transaction processing/ acquiring environments.
  • Demonstrated capability to extract data, conduct analysis and provide insightful and actionable reports.
  • Logical approach to problem solving and creating data insights.
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, written, verbal and presentation)
  • Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
  • Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Command Line
